The used Volkswagen Golf has been placed on eBay by current owner Sonny Brazil, who got the car from his dad's used car dealership where it had been part exchanged by the Duchess of Cambridge's brother back in 2009.
Sonny only realised the Golf's royal history after looking at the first registered keeper in the log book which read Ms Catherine Middleton which then led to the money making eBay auction idea. The auction starting price is £20,000 and is expected to make around £30,000. If you were to buy a similar spec used Volkswagen Golf, Croydon dealerships have plenty, you would probably pay around £1,500. Not a bad deal at all for Mr Brazil.
I wonder how many used cars out there have celebrity histories that have yet to be discovered. Fat chance my Alfa has one!
